Early in my tech career I got the itch to teach high school math; during this diversion I made extensive use of technology, in particular for visualization. You can find those tools and my education blog here.
When I first encountered git it twisted my brain so much that I created
Gitsummary,
a self-contained tool that provides a complete repo status:
I got my first Mac relatively late in my career and discovered the Dock, which I really don't like 😃. So I created HammerBar -- a Hammerspoon "Spoon" that provides a simple start menu, application launcher, and taskbar.
After teaching high school math for a number of years I decided to switch back to software development. At the time I was a big user of Freeplane for organizing my thoughts but there was no mobile version, so I created m3 Mind Mapper with the goal of it being a cross platform mind mapping tool that would become my daily driver.
Unfortunately that development has stalled 😦, but you can find out more here or give it a try.
